I would like to be considered for the Fans’ Forum and hope that this expression of interest will evidence my experience and skills.
I have been an Evertonian since birth - we are born not made! I started watching the Blues in 1980 and haven’t missed a season since. Having been in most sections of Goodison, I settled in the Park End in 1994 and made some amazing friendships with fellow Evertonians. In 2003, my blue nose daughter Mollie came along, and she got her first season ticket in 2011. I follow Everton home and away, both nationally and internationally, so feel that I have acquired a knowledge and understanding of what makes for a good fan experience. I also (thanks to Mollie) follow Everton Women home and away and watch Mollie play for the Everton pan disability team.
As a fan, and father of a disabled child, I have developed an understanding of inclusion and enjoy matchdays through Mollie’s experience. Inclusivity is important to me and I can bring my experience to the Fans’ Forum to help others.
This club is special to me and especially important to Mollie. I feel that my passion for getting things right, combined with my experience, will support me to drive this fantastic club forward. I am excited about our future at the new stadium and proud that we won’t forget our heritage by leaving Goodison in the capable hands of our women’s team. I am looking for a new challenge and would love to share my skills as part of the Fans’ Forum.
